A documentary of a black protest in the downtown of Sacramento, California.
Monopoles is a romance depicting the evolution or the cycle of relationship between two people. In this 21-minute short film, I combined a self-written narrative and poems, with well known artists' music, thus to create a zone in which people can live with the protagonists, to simply recall their intimate memories. I hope this short film has a resonance for those who constantly fall in and out of love. You are never alone, and neither am I.
This is my debut in a format of semi-documentary. This is a film which documented an ordinary day of nine females who are current college students and graduates. I wanted to show the beauty, poetics, and esthetics within their daily lives in a maximum level. I am always proud to be one of them, a female artist who always finds new paths to create images, motion pictures, so for deliver messages with authenticity and perception. As a woman, I cherish every moment in life through ups and downs, heart breaks, accompanies, and reunions, and I am extremely fortunate to have this calling for documenting those beautiful moments to my audience.
